Heading To My Stateroom
After onboard World Dream Cruise (at about 7:35 p.m.), I was heading to my stateroom. It’s on 11th floor. At first, I was confused with the direction for my stateroom. I was lost. 😦
So, I asked for help from the cruise staff. I was lucky enough that the staff escorted me the hallway for my stateroom.

The signage was in both English and Simplified Chinese. My stateroom number was 11595. So, this direction should be correct.

My Stateroom Tour
Eventually, I found my room! But why there was a pillar in front of my door????

My room was small but it’s big enough for only myself.

There were bottled waters, kettle, TV, safe, fridge, air-conditioning and heater.

Bathroom was spacious, clean and very new though! One downside, there was no shower cap. 😦

The cruise staff are sweet enough to place important information on my bed, including the daily schedule of activities and events.

Because of the sinking of the Titanic and resultant loss of life, “Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS)” was adopted by international treaty to establish international regulations about maritime safety. The World Dream Cruise followed SOLAS. I found emergency instructions at the back of my room door.

My luggage was not yet delivered to my room. It had been 1 hour since I did my baggage check-in. The battery for my mobile was running out. I needed to get my baggage so that I could get my portable bank for recharging my mobile.
I went down to the reception desk (on the lobby floor, 6th floor) to check to see if they could delivery my luggage to my room shortly. Also, I bought onboard wifi at HKD268 (to be paid at check-out). It’s a 48 hours unlimited wifi package. But it’s not cheap at all!

Later on, my luggage was delivered to my stateroom. So, my mobile could be recharged.
Life Boats
The SOLAS also regulates cruise ships to have sufficient life boats onboard to escape from the ship in the event of emergency situations.
