The World Dream Cruise was very big. It provided cruisers with many different facilities. I only listed few as below. For details, you may visit World Dream Cruise company’s website: https://www.dreamcruiseline.com/en/cruise-experiences/ .
Swimming Pool & Jacuzzi
The cruise ship had 2 kid pools, a main pool and 2 jacuzzis. They were all located on 16th floor. I did not get into the water because I was afraid that I would get cold (as it’s already end of November in Hong Kong. It’s winter time).

Fitness Centre
World Dream Cruise’s fitness centre was called Crystal Life Fitness. It’s located on 15th/F. I had to pass by the Crystal Life Spa to get to Crystal Life Fitness. The Crystal Life Fitness was free and opened 24 hours! It’s well equipped and spacious!! You would get free drinking water and free towel there. 🙂 If you work out, don’t miss it !!!

Child Care Centre
The Little Pandas Club was a child care centre, located on 16th floor, close to the main pool. The Little Pandas Club provided kids with supervised activities. All staff at Little Pandas Club have childcare certificates issued by the authorities of their own country.

Because there was a kid event for the “Alice’s Christmas Wonderland” (which lasts from 11 November 2019 to 16 January 2020). Kids might borrow Alice’s featured costume for free to wear at the event.

Registration for the kid care service
I was lucky enough that Rachael let me had a look at the registration form for the kid care service. World Dream Cruise was generous – the first 2 hours for their kid care service was free!!! (in Chinese below)

Housekeeping
On my second day of cruising, I ran into the housekeeping staff when I was on my way to my stateroom. He was nice enough to say “Hello, madam!” to me! 🙂 I was really surprised. After chatting for a little while, he showed me how he handled the empty water bottles. 🙂
He said that the housekeeping staff would separated recyclable items, like empty water bottles from other garbage. And then put the bottles into a transparent plastic bag. And eventually, they put the plastic bag into the “Bottles/Cans” bag (the yellow cloth bag as below) of the cart. When the cruise ship stopped over a terminal, the bottles would be handled by proper waste disposal.
The International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships, also known as MARPOL, governs a board range of maritime issues related to potential marine pollution, including oil, chemicals, garbage and sewage. The MARPOL also mandates proper dispoal and/or discharge. It is illegal to dump plastic refuse and garbage mixed with plastic into any waters.
World Dream Cruise did comply MARPOL.
Clinic
The Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) is also designed to provide guarantees for health care. World Dream Cruise offered medical assistance on the 5th floor. Doctors are available for consultation at designated hours. If you feel sick and don’t see the doctors around, you may call 898180 for assistance. They are on-call 24 hours!!

Up-to-date Mobile Technology
Passengers might download the Dream Cruises Mobile App before getting onboard. When I was onboard World Dream Cruise, I sent Instant Message to my tutors and classmate. I could also view daily program schedules and details of onboard attractions and facilities, like the location and opening hours.
On 30 November, 2019 night, I checked out by using the Dream Cruises Mobile App so that I would not need to go to the front desk and queue up for check-out. The App allowed me to settle my bill with my credit card. It’s so convenient!
